Petronor Maintains Stable Congo Production Despite Minor Q2 Decline

Independent operator Petronor E&P reported Q2 2025 average net production of 4,240 barrels per day from the PNGF Sud field in the Republic of Congo, representing a slight decrease from Q1’s 4,303 bpd while achieving improved 90% production efficiency compared to 2024’s 86% average.

Two workover crews are currently reinstating idle wells to boost output levels, while the company has replenished its overlift position and is building entitlement oil inventory ahead of a planned Q4 2025 lifting and sale.

Drilling operations have commenced at the Tchibouela East oil and gas field with the arrival of Rig Axima, initiating a five-well infill program designed to increase production capacity during the second half of the year. The expanded drilling campaign reflects Petronor’s commitment to maximizing field potential and production optimization.

The stable production performance demonstrates effective field management despite the challenging operational environment in Central Africa.
