UAE’s Aurelio Expands Bunkering Operations into Senegalese Market
Dubai-based maritime services company Aurelio has successfully launched bunkering operations in Senegal, marking a significant milestone in the country’s maritime fuel supply sector. The company completed its inaugural cargo loading of Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil and Marine Gas Oil and made its first deliveries at the Port of Dakar to international traders.
Operating under a joint venture agreement with Petrosen Trading and Services, the downstream arm of Senegal’s state oil company Petrosen, Aurelio combines its international bunkering expertise with local regulatory insights to establish itself as a full-time bunker supplier in the region.
The operations are supported by the 13,000 deadweight ton barge MT Oris Trinity, which facilitates the delivery of marine fuels to vessels within the offshore port limits of Dakar, enhancing the port’s capability to serve international shipping traffic.
