In a major boost for Nigeria’s energy sector, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved all critical regulatory licenses needed for the Kolmani Integrated Development Projects, breathing new life into the promising oil fields straddling Bauchi and Gombe States.
The announcement came during the groundbreaking ceremony for the permanent site of the Bauchi Oil and Gas Academy in Alkaleri, where Senator Lokpobiri emphasized the government’s determination to “make every productive oil platform count towards national growth.”
The Minister highlighted President Tinubu’s strategic focus on transforming Nigeria’s energy landscape “into one that fuels industrial growth, creates jobs, and enhances national revenue.” Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, welcomed the development, noting that the new academy will “serve as a foundation for skill acquisition and innovation that will benefit not just Bauchi State but the entire nation.”
