Nigerian Gas Company Doubles Delivery Capacity

Tetracore Energy Group Limited has significantly expanded its operations by doubling its daily gas delivery capacity to 6.2 million standard cubic feet per day following the commissioning of a new Compressed Natural Gas facility in Ogbere, Ogun State. The facility is strategically located along the Benin-Sagamu Expressway and represents a major advancement in Nigeria’s clean energy infrastructure.

The expanded capacity positions Tetracore to serve large commercial clients including AYM Shafa, Optimal Energy, Pi-CNG Buses, and Dangote Cement. The company has secured a strategic agreement with Dangote Cement to deliver 400,000 standard cubic meters of CNG to power the cement giant’s logistics fleet.

The CNG Phase II facility builds upon the success of the company’s 3.1 million standard cubic feet per day Phase I facility launched in June 2024. The new facility features a fully integrated energy delivery system with state-of-the-art Mobile Refilling Units and advanced safety systems including automated leak detection, continuous pressure monitoring, and internationally certified quality, health, safety, and environmental protocols.

Oladayo Williams, Programmes Executive at Tetracore, described the commissioning as a milestone in Nigeria’s clean energy journey and a strong support for the Federal Government’s Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative led by President Bola Tinubu.
