TotalEnergies’ accelerated development of two Nigerian oil fields is set to give the NLNG Train 7 project a major feedstock boost. The French energy major says its Ubeta deepwater project and the Ima shallow-water field are on track to start delivering substantial gas volumes to NLNG by 2030, supporting a steady natural gas supply as global demand for liquefied natural gas keeps climbing.

Both fields carry sizeable gas reserves that TotalEnergies plans to bring online as part of its broader push to grow gas output.
